Free food to be distributed Thursday at Lake City Center

Lake City Center is conducting a community outreach free food distribution Thursday starting at 9 a.m. until the food is gone.

LCC has been given a semi truck full of food from Eastern Washington farmers through the Cares Act, USDA.

Each car will be loaded with a box of food containing eight pounds of potatoes, 10 pounds of apples and three pounds of onions.

"A special thank you goes out to A to Z Rental for the equipment donated to make this all possible," LCC administrative director Marlys Silva said.

LCC is seeking volunteers to load boxes into cars. If you can help, call 208-667-4628.
