NIC suspends classes today due to hazardous air quality

Due to forecasted hazardous air quality conditions, North Idaho College has suspended all in-person, hybrid and online classes, as well as all co-curricular activities for today.

All employees other than essential employees will work remotely.

This includes the main campus in Coeur d'Alene, the Parker Technical Education Center in Rathdrum, the Workforce Training Center in Post Falls, the Aerospace Center in Hayden, Area Agency on Aging in Coeur d’Alene, Head Start centers in North Idaho and the NIC outreach centers in Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry.

Campus closure information is broadcast on all regional television and radio stations. Check for emergency notification messages on the NIC home page for the most up-to-date information at www.nic.edu.
