Gyneen Marie Sharp, 68

| September 10, 2020 1:00 AM

Gyneen Marie Sharp, age 68, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020. Gyneen was born in Sheboygan, Wis., on Oct. 5, 1951. In 1995, Gyneen moved from Santa Ana, Calif., to Post Falls, Idaho.

Gyneen quickly became friends with anyone she met; her determination inspired all who were around her and she was seldom seen without her mocha Frappuccino.

In 2003, Gyneen graduated from Lewis and Clark State College with a bachelor’s degree in education and social science. Gyneen had several different jobs throughout her life, but her true calling was to serve the people around her and she did that all the days of her life.

Gyneen never missed a sporting event for her grandchildren. Whether it was near or far, she was always in the crowd, loud and proud, rooting for her family.

Her selflessness and willingness to serve even carried into her hobbies. In her free time, Gyneen uniquely designed and hand-crafted boxes out of yarn and plastic to gift to expecting mothers. She called them her “Baby Boxes.” Gyneen would make baby boxes for family and friends, as well as local grocery clerks or bank tellers. A true testament to her acts of service knowing no limits or bounds.

Gyneen was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly, father, Marvin and brother, Jeff.

She is survived by her brothers Tom (Debbie) Bezoenik, and Robert (Julie) Bezoenik; sisters JoAnn Bremmer and Mickey Bezoenik; stepsisters Vicky Nash and Laura Tyacke; daughters Ti-Lee (Cliff) Grimm and Kimberly (Cory) Bodak; son, Paul Sharp; grandchildren Michel, Faith, Hope and Noah Bodak; and great-grandson, Hudson Little. In addition, Gyneen spent the last year of her life falling in love with her boyfriend, Ron Fisher, who truly was her soulmate.

Daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Gyneen’s contagious smile will never be forgotten and her vivacious spirit lives on in all of the lives she impacted.

Please join us in a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at Real Life Ministries, 1860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls, Idaho, in the upper room of Building 1.
