PARKING: A little courtesy, please

Saturday into the late evening and Sunday on CDA Avenue in front of a senior living building, an extended boat trailer and large pickup truck parked by the curb taking all of the parking spaces.

Many residents have visitors come to pick them up and drop drop them off. At any given time an ambulance comes as well as the hook and ladder fire trucks to assist in aid or for a fire alarm. Delivery and garbage trucks come as well.

I would like to think there is room somewhere in the given boat and truck parking spaces down by the lake for these large boat trailers and trucks.

The boat and truck also parked the next day across the street for long hours. It also is difficult to see if it is safe to pull out of the residents' parking lot located on each side of the building.

I hope there can be a resolution for large vehicles pulling boat trailers and parking downtown.
