WELLS: He’s half right so far

Over a century ago the Sci-fi writer H.G. Wells wrote the classic, “The Time Machine.” So far, he was half right.

In his story, the human race was divided, as it is now, into two very different types of people. One was a baby boomer type — hipper, self-indulgent, me-first whiner. Today we call them Democrats and their allies anarchists, socialists, looters, vandals, arsonists, etc. They, of course, are self-righteous, left-wingers.

P.S. Very few prominent Democrats have spoken out against the violence in our cities. Most have either remained silent or have indicated their support for the rioters, etc. Why is that? Because, to paraphrase Ronald Reagan, You don’t criticize members of your own political party.
