COVID-19: Loneliness kills more

| September 6, 2020 1:00 AM

Based on figures released by the Post Falls Press, 9/2/20:

The number of new cases is 13.

The current total number affected since the beginning is 2,183.

The number no longer monitored (recovered) is1,958

The number of deaths is 30.

That leaves the number of active cases at 195, and most will recover.

The population of Kootenai County (2020 according to the internet) is 138,494..

Dividing 195 by 138,494 is 0.001408 or about 14 out of 10,000 people,

The first case of Covid-19 in Kootenai County was diagnosed March 19. Since then, every new case was added. Recoveries and deaths were never deleted. The current number sounds scary. Liberals want you to be afraid, so they emphasize the number that HAVE BEEN infected rather than the number that ARE infected.

Now we have another “epidemic”—loneliness. People are forced into isolation. In some retirement and care centers, more people have died from loneliness than from the virus. A web search for “loneliness in the USA” lists nine web sites plus other search possibilities.

In past epidemics, those affected were quarantined. The rest of society continued normally. One way or another, through herd immunity, a vaccine or both, the virus eventually went away.

Life will never be risk free. Every choice has consequences and potential risks. Life is about balancing those risks, and life must go on. With present treatment including media hype, the “epidemic” will never end.
