Authorities start second day of searching for 2-year-old boy missing in Eagle
Ada County sheriff deputies spent the afternoon with dive teams in a pond near where 2-year-old Rory Pope was reported missing Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020 in the Legacy neighborhood in Eagle. By evening hundreds of volunteers were combing the area in search.

A 2-year-old boy who went missing near Floating Feather and Linder roads in Eagle still has not been found, the Ada County Sheriff’s Office said from its Twitter account on Thursday morning.
The toddler, Rory Pope, was last seen at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in the area of west Nordic Drive in Eagle, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He has blond, curly hair and was wearing a lime-green T-shirt.
