TRUMP: Yes last time, no now

| September 2, 2020 1:00 AM

I voted for Republican presidential candidates, from Eisenhower to date, which includes Donald Trump. He deserves credit for his appointments to the Supreme Court and his support of the Second Amendment. I have, however, lost trust in his judgment and will not vote for him again. This is not an endorsement of Joe Biden.

Donald Trump is paranoid and vindictive. He walks a narrow line at the dark edge of the law.

The Hatch Act and other regulations were made for others, not him. Honesty, integrity and humility are not part of his character. Where are the tax records that he promised during his campaign for president? What is he hiding?

He dodged the military draft and had the audacity to question John McCain’s military service record. He abandoned the Turks, our most important ally in defeating ISS. He had his personal lawyer circumvent national channels and fired our ambassador to the Ukraine. Instead of just releasing her, he tried to destroy her stellar service record.

He blocked all cabinet members from testifying during the impeachment hearings. What could their testimony reveal?

He threatened to defund the U.S. Post Office for personal gain. He points to the strong economy but with $2.7 trillion more debt in his first three years (before the pandemic), the economy should be very good. He squandered 60 days in the fight to contain COVID-19. He proposed to temporarily suspend withholding taxes, which funds Social Security.

I will vote for Senator Risch.
