Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies conducted a welfare check at N. Hatch Rd. An R/P called and said his roommate was sending odd text messages saying he needed help and felt as if he was in danger. Deputies were able to do research and track the male to his girlfriend’s house at the Hatch Rd. address. Turns out he and his girlfriend had been involved in an argument but resolved it then passed out. No crime. FI completed.

• Deputies took a two vehicle rear-end crash at Prairie and Huetter.

• Deputies responded to the area of W. Hwy 53 for a welfare check. A transport company said one of their trucks was stationary in the area and had missed a drop off in Oregon. Deputies located the vehicle. The driver was located deceased in the sleeper berth. At this time there is nothing suspicious.

• Deputies handled a semi-truck vs. SUV crash at Poleline and Maple. ISP CVS responded and conducted an inspection on the truck.

• Deputies responded to W. Marigold Ct. for an unattended death. The deceased male had significant health issues. Nothing suspicious and Coroner released.

• A CSO located the vehicle that had been reported stolen last week from the 4th of July pass. The vehicle was found abandoned at the corner of 6th and Hazel in the CDA. CSO completed a supplemental and the vehicle was removed from NCIC.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to W. K Street in Worley for a trespassing/unwanted person. The R/P stated an intoxicated female was at her residence refusing to leave. Deputies contacted the female who has had several KCSO contacts in the last few days. The female had permission to stay in a trailer on the property but was trespassed from the residence. 20-37422

• Deputies responded to S. Baker Lane for a suspicious activity. Off duty Deputy located a suspicious male in a vehicle believed to be stolen. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the male and found him to be in possession of gas cans full of gas. The male had just been released from a rider and had been home for approximately 4 days. Deputies learned that the male had stolen the gas and cans from family members in the area. Deputies placed male under arrest and charged him with burglary and possession of stolen property. He was also charged for petit theft. 20-37445

• A Deputy stopped a male driver at Hwy 95 MP 421 and cited and released him for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. 20-37437

• A Deputy stopped and arrested a female at Seltice X Baugh for her FTA warrant for domestic battery. 20-37443

• Deputies responded to N. Uplands Dr. A male is going through a separation/divorce with his wife. The male was at work and received a message that female was at home destroying his motorcycle, television and other items. Upon arrival, the items were not damaged nor tampered with. Both are trying to have each other evicted and future calls to this residence are expected until they get court documents completed. Deputies educated both parties on community property. No crimes were committed. 20-37427

• Deputies responded to E. Hayden Ave for a located runaway. The mother located her juvenile son who was a runaway attempting to hitchhike at the location. Deputies arrived and placed Bowman in custody for his active warrant. 20-37424

• Deputies responded to N. Reed Road for reckless activity. An R/P reported her juvenile neighbor was outside setting fires. Deputies made contact with the juvenile neighbor who said he was “egged on” to light a piece of paper on fire. The juvenile was warned about playing with fire and Deputies contacted his mother and made her aware of what took place. 20-37439

• Deputies responded to a minor injury crash at Ohio Match Rd X Ramsey Rd. A female driver was travelling west on Ohio Match Road when she rolled her vehicle pulling a trailer. She had minor injuries and refused medical attention. The trailer took out an electric box causing multiple residences to lose power. She was charged for misdemeanor DWP and failure to display insurance. 20-37427

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy stopped and arrested a male for a warrant at Amerimart. 20-37473

• Deputies responded to BNSF twice for a male stealing rides on trains and running from employees. The 2nd time, they contacted a male and arrested him for resisting and cited him for stealing rides on trains and trespassing. 20-37485
