PHD: Out with these four

| October 30, 2020 1:00 AM

Panhandle Health District’s board members Banks, Balley, Fitzgerald and Kirby should step down, asked to resign or be removed. Their only concern should be the health of the general population within the district’s jurisdiction. NOT law enforcement. There are laws on the books presently that are not being strictly enforced but could be if necessary.

Board members should be chosen on their experience and qualifications. With no or limited knowledge in the health care field, it was wrong for these four individuals to be chosen to sit on the board. Four students from the nursing school at North Idaho College would be better qualified to rule on the mask mandate.

“Click it or Ticket” has saved lives on our streets and highways. “Mask it or Casket” would save lives in our community, our state, across the nation and around the world.

The decision to rescind the mask mandate also indicates how ill-informed some of our Boise state legislatures are. Reinstate the mask mandate for 90 days? Now the board members have a crystal ball!
