Mary Ann (Ayers) Bonesteel

It is with much sorrow we say goodbye to Mom. She passed unexpectedly on Oct. 14, 2020. She was born in Salida, Colo., to Svea Teresa Lofgren and Glen Albert Ayers. She lived there until moving to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 1976.

During her life she worked as a telephone operator and clerk of the court in Salida. She spent the rest of her career working as a legal secretary for Dodson and Raeon Law Offices until she retired.

She loved reading, doing stained glass and ceramic work. Most of all she loved her family more than anything.

She is survived by her best friend and older sister, Diann (Orville) Wright and their two children; her husband of 50 years, Dean; and the pride and joy of her life, her children: Anna (John) Eckhart, Tonia (Tom) Gable and Douglas (Camber) Bonesteel; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and was waiting to meet her first great-great-grandchild.

It was her wish not to have a service, but the family is planning a small family celebration of her life in the spring or summer of next year.
