VEHICLE FEE: A better solution

I have a suggestion for KMPO. Instead of adding more fees on Kootenai County residents, why not look into why we receive only 2.7% of collected money for transportation projects?

Kootenai County is the third largest county in Idaho, 165,000 residents.

If we cannot collect more money from the state gas tax, a local gas tax of a few cents makes more sense.

Use taxes are paid by everyone, not just county residents.
