Rigby 14
REXBURG — Rocky Mountain took advantage of four first-half turnovers by Rigby and beat the defending state champion Trojans at Madison High for the Grizzlies' third state title since opening in 2008.
Maxwell Lehman ran for two touchdowns for Rocky (9-0), which also won titles in 2015 and ’18. Rocky beat previously undefeated Coeur d'Alene in a semifinal game at Meridian last week.
Rigby (10-1), which had committed just four turnovers all year before Saturday, had its 20-game winning streak snap. The Trojans' last loss was at Coeur d'Alene in the 2019 season opener. Rigby beat Coeur d'Alene 57-56 in double overtime in last year's state title game at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, but graduated a talented core of seniors and returning to the title game this year was a bit of a surprise to some.

MIDDLETON — Connor Maloney caught four touchdown passes as Skyline (12-1) defeated Emmett (10-3) at Middleton High for the Grizzlies' third state title in five years.
Skyline, which beat Sandpoint in the semifinals last week, also won state titles in 2016 and ’17. It's the Grizzlies' seventh state title overall.

MIDDLETON — Crew Clark scored on a reverse on the first play of overtime, and Sugar-Salem (10-1) stopped Homedale (8-2) on fourth and goal from the 4 at Middleton High to capture its third straight state title.
It was the third straight year Sugar beat Homedale in the title game.
Junior tailback Hayden Kincheloe rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries for Homedale, which led 20-0 at halftime.
Homedale defeated Timberlake in the quarterfinals.

REXBURG — Cage Brokens accounted for three touchdowns, Blaize Brown threw two TD passes and ran for another score, Bryler Shurtliff had a pick-6 and a TD reception and West Side (11-0) blanked Firth (8-4) at Madison High for its second straight state title, and seventh overall.

TWIN FALLS — Jace Robinson threw three touchdown passes, Isaac Mitton scored three TDs, and Oakley (11-1) ran away from Raft River (9-2) of Malta at Twin Falls High for its first state title since 2009, and third overall.
Raft River was bidding for its sixth state title, and first since 2016.

TWIN FALLS — Dietrich (11-0) overcame a 22-6 halftime deficit and defeated District 4 rival Carey (8-1) at Twin Falls High to win its first state football title in school history.
Dietrich beat Mullan-St. Regis in the state semifinals last week.
