Noah Douglas Pierce

Noah Douglas Pierce passed away on Nov. 13, 2020, at Kootenai Health from complications of COVID-19.

He was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on Sept. 20, 1937, and was raised in Englewood, Tenn.

Doug is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of 40 years and their four children and their spouses: Joe and Lynn Morris, Patti and Roy Schmitten, Alan and Connie Morris and Mike and Sayrs Morris. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Doug was a printer by trade and a lifelong New York Yankees fan and an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan. He enjoyed sports and playing senior baseball in Coeur d’Alene until his late ‘70s. Doug was proud of his military service in the U.S. Army and being part of the 101st Airborne. He loved all of his animals and he will be dearly missed.
