Knights to distribute warm clothes for kids

The Knights of Columbus will be giving away a large quantity of new winter wear for children on Nov. 27.

It will include down-filled winter coats as well as stocking caps, gloves and socks in sizes for toddlers to teens.

The event is open to any family. Just show up.

The distribution is scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at St. George's Catholic Church, 2010 N. Lucas St., Post Falls.

The inventory includes nearly 1,000 new and used coats; about 450 stocking caps; about 100 gloves and mittens; about 75 sock sets and 24 scarves.

Those planning to attend are asked to wear masks.
