FEE: The pack has spoken

The elite of K County has had their say. They told us sheep (voters) that growth, plus higher taxes and fees are inevitable, so open your wallets, and shut your mouths. Well, the sheep responded more like a snarling pack of wolves, and voted down the vehicle fee by a 2 to 1 margin.

Since the vehicle fee was a sort-of referendum on where the county is headed, I certainly hope that every public official got the message loud and clear, or maybe face the same fate as the vehicle fee.

And now a few words to those just elected to the Legislature. Your No. 1 job this session is residential property tax relief. Don’t even think about leaving Boise without doing this. The Pack is ready to snarl again at the next election.
