CATS: Plea for consideration

To all of you cat owners, I am a 93-year-old widow living on Social Security. Not only have I had to put up with the messes your cats have left in my lawn and flower beds, now they are costing me money. I have outdoor carpet on my deck and stairs and your cats have scratched the stair risers to shreds. I will now have to pay someone to replace the carpet with something else that the cats won’t be able to scratch.

Do you think this is fair? Please leave your cats at home.
