ELECTION: Lessons from Chicago
I’m from an Irish Catholic Democrat family in Chicago. My Dad and his brothers and sisters “got” their jobs on the railroad based on politics. Lifeguards (who couldn’t swim) got their jobs based on politics. The mayor was Richard J. Daley.
“Ward Healers” combed the neighborhoods, watching for any sign of malcontent. My best friend’s dad was a Ward Healer. Mr. Buck had a job as a guard at Cook County Jail. He often joked with me about his being a jail guard, and he said he didn’t even know how to get to his job at the jail.
Over the years, three Illinois governors spent time in prison. As a typical example: In 1960, every single example of cheating was used to get JF Kennedy into the White House. Indeed, the cemetery in which my Aunt Kate was buried was counted as legal votes — as were the cemeteries of the whole city. Voting numerous times at numerous places was a big joke. That’s where “vote early and often” came from. We now hear that Pennsylvania cities are all Democrat cheatfests, as well as the other Democrat-controlled cities.
Chicagoans love the reputation as some kind of “tough place.” They take great pride in crime and political collusion, and that attitude pays off sadly today as young black men kill each other, as the police refuse to even enter their neighborhoods to enforce laws. Untold numbers of wonderful families are kept imprisoned in such American cities — THAT is racism!
It is a longstanding Democrat game to cheat on elections. Sadly, they’re trying again to pull it off on a national scale. If we merely sit back and watch, they’ll steal the presidency from America’s greatest president — ever, Donald Trump. Get hot, America. Our nation is at risk.
