PHD: More than 1,000 cases in past week

The Panhandle Health District reported 160 coronavirus cases on Friday. In the last week, PHD has had 1,041 new cases and seven deaths of people age 70 and older attributed to the virus.

Kootenai County had 128 new cases on Friday and in the past week has added 718 cases to bring its COVID count to 5,721. Sixty-one deaths in the county, six in the past week, were attributed to the virus.
