Sandpoint overwhelms Moscow for state 4A semifinal bid

SANDPOINT — Gerrit Cox ran for 138 yards and a touchdown, Parker Pettit completed 16 of 19 passes for 105 yards and the Sandpoint Bulldogs overwhelmed the Moscow Bears in the state 4A quarterfinals 31-13 at Barlow Stadium on Friday, advancing to the semifinals for the first time since 2015.

Sandpoint (5-4) will visit Skyline (10-1) of Idaho Falls next Friday for a berth in the title game.

Moscow (4-2) was limited to 115 yards of total offense.
