SIGNS: VANDAL gets caught

Someone has dropped to a new low in the Garden District: my neighbor had vandalism to her political yard signs for two nights, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. When the signs couldn’t be stolen, as have several nearby, because they were chained to the house, this person came back with boxcutters to slash it. Then, they returned to deface them.

Fortunately, the police were able to identify the culprit thanks to home video/audio. She was arrested and has bonded out.

If you still have signs in your yard, you may want to protect them. It’s all about our freedom to think and vote our conscience, not behave like small children who have no self-control.
