There are two reasons that you're peering at my unusual photo today.

First, everyone is totally caught up in the election results right now, so who would spend time trudging through my regular Wednesday column?

On the other hand, though, I do need to make a point — about how to handle being a fair and honest columnist, while still maintaining your status as a true fan.

As you SHOULD be able to guess from the picture, I have a closet full of Arsenal gear, all because I've given my heart and soul (sports version) to that magnificent football (soccer) club in North London.

We Gooners are loyal for life, but it's true that some weeks are more spectacular than others.

Yes, this is one of them, since Arsenal dusted off Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday up at Old Trafford.

It's TRULY fun to wear the colors after a big win, and the key for a columnist is being honest about it.
