Incoming Zags freshman Suggs named
to Bob Cousy Award Watch List
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Gonzaga incoming freshman Jalen Suggs was named Monday to the Bob Cousy Award Watch List, which recognizes the top point guards in Division I men's basketball.
Suggs is the highest-ranked recruit to ever sign with the Zags. He ranked fifth in ESPN's Top-100 list in the Class of 2020. The West St. Paul, Minn., native averaged 23.5 points per game during his senior season at Minnehaha Academy. He also averaged 7.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 3.8 steals per game helping the Redhawks to a 26-3 record and No. 13 national ranking. As a junior, he averaged 24.2 points, 6.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game.
Payton Pritchard of Oregon won the Bob Cousy Award last season.
Colbey Ross of Pepperdine is among the others on the watch list.

Kootenai County Vandal Boosters
to meet Thursday at Cd'A Resort
COEUR d'ALENE — The Kootenai County Vandal Boosters are scheduled to meet for lunch Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Cabin 5 at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
Special guests include Becky Byers, Assistant Director of Admissions, and Helena Harned, Student Support Specialist. They will be sharing their experience of getting creative to recruit new students to our University of Idaho during these COVID times.
