JULY 4: Not Chamber’s call

| May 31, 2020 1:00 AM

Hey! Who ever said that the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce has control of what goes on in Coeur d’Alene? Or surrounding communities? These are tough times for everybody, not just Coeur d’Alene.

Your article on May 27, “July 4 bang” by Craig Northrup, leaves a lot out, and to question. For instance, who in their right minds would go to these events? Spokane has canceled the Lilac Parade, Bloomsday and Hoopfest. Many clues there. We don’t want them here, either.

By the way, where is the mayor and City Council in all of this? Very quiet. Shameful. They rule, not the Chamber of Commerce. Sorry.
