PHD coronavirus case count remains low

| May 30, 2020 1:00 AM

PHD on Friday reported a total of 77 COVID-19 cases. It is no longer monitoring 68 of those individuals.

There are 67 in Kootenai County, six in Bonner County, and four in Benewah County.

In the past two weeks, since restaurants, salons and gyms reopened in Idaho, there have been three new cases in Kootenai County. Symptoms can appear two to 14 days after exposure to the virus, according to PHD.

“We currently have five cases that we have limited information on right now,” according to the PHD website. “That is why our total cases does not match the county data.”

Under Gov. Brad Little’s “Idaho Rebounds” plan, bars can reopen today.
