JAME` DAVIS — Better days comin’ right up

| May 26, 2020 11:05 AM

The past couple of months have been interesting and challenging to say the least. Businesses and organizations adapting and adjusting to state orders, new company policies and procedures regarding health, safety and let’s not forget a whole new world via Zoom!

We are thrilled to be able to celebrate together at our Connect 4 Lunch on June 16 at Templin’s Red Lion. It is a program dedicated to our River City Leadership Academy graduates. We are grateful to TDS and River City Fabrication for their 2020 program sponsorships. We are accepting applications for the class of 2021 until June 5 if you are interested in participating in the program.

June 12 will be our 28th Annual Post Falls Open Golf Tournament at the Links Golf Club. We are thrilled to announce our Eagle Sponsors — Knudtsen Chevrolet, Numerica Credit Union, Haddock & Associates, Wells Fargo Bank, Northwest Specialty Hospital, Alliance Title & Escrow and bankcda. Thank you to our Birdie Sponsors — Buffalo Wild Wings, Avista Utilities, First Interstate Bank, Riverbend Commerce Park, Express Employment Professionals and North Idaho College.

We are honored to welcome Dan Green as he presents a financial literacy workshop at the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce on June 23 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

July 7 is our CEO Speakers Series presented by Idaho Central Credit Union. We are thrilled to welcome Mark Fisher, CEO for Advanced Benefits. Our luncheon will be at Templin’s Red Lion from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Looking ahead to July, Post Falls Festival is always a great time! July 10-12 will be one big celebration in the River City — kicking off the weekend Friday with our RCLA Alumni “Hot Summer Nights” event at Templin’s, continuing on with the parade on Saturday morning, July 11, and festivities all weekend at Q’emiln Park. Come out and enjoy all that Post Falls has to offer.

Cheers!
