EDMONDSON: Quality to the core

| May 12, 2020 1:00 AM

In the nearly 10 years that I spent as a police chief in North Idaho, I had the privilege of working with several outstanding law enforcement representatives and Kim Edmondson is one of those individuals.

I have always found Kim to be very easy to work with. She is well organized, has great ideas and a drive to get the job done. Kim is compassionate, thoughtful, professional and a great representative of the Sheriff’s Office. In my current department we live by our four Core Values, Professionalism, Integrity, Compassion and Service. Kim is a model example of these Values. She is very professional in her dealings with citizens and other department members, she is honest and truthful as a law enforcement representative and as a human being, she has a great amount of compassion for others, and lastly Kim gives service to all.

Kim has established many great relationships with citizens, organizations and departments within Kootenai County and has equally done a good job establishing those same relationships outside of the County. Kim will work with members of the department to look for ways of improving customer service to the people that live, work and play within Kootenai County.

As Sheriff of Kootenai County, Kim will bring in new ideas to the Sheriff’s Office and is the right person to lead the organization into the future. I wholeheartedly support Kim Edmondson and would ask that you join me in supporting Kim as your next Kootenai County Sheriff.
