Special shopping hours

Several area grocery stores are allowing special shopping hours for those most vulnerable to the coronavirus. During those times, stores ask that people respect the time set aside for senior citizens and those with compromised immune systems, and they will be cleaning and sanitizing more than usual to help stop the spread of the virus.

Fred Meyer: Monday through Thursday, 7 to 8 a.m.

Walmart: Tuesday, 6 to 7 a.m. (until April 28)

Pilgrim’s Market: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 to 9 a.m.

Albertsons: Tuesday and Thursday, 7 to 9 a.m.

Safeway: Tuesday and Thursday, from open until 9 a.m.

Winco: Tuesday and Thursday, 6 to 7:30 a.m.

Costco: Tuesday and Thursday, 8 to 9 a.m.

Yoke’s: Wednesday, 6 to 9 a.m.

Target: Wednesday, 8 to 9 a.m.
