SHOPKO: Emergency hospital

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. As I look to the other states for their innovative thinking, such as Seattle and the use of a soccer field for a make-shift hospital, have our city leaders (and Kootenai health), considered using the old Shopko building for an overflow hospital? It’s in a perfect location, being close in proximity to the hospital.

Some people may think this is over-reacting, however, preparedness is never too early.
