Atlas Elementary car parade is today

The teachers and classified staff at Atlas Elementary School will bring a dose of sunshine to their students today.

They'll be conducting a car parade starting at 1 p.m. They plan to drive around neighborhoods to smile and wave to their kids.

They will line up in order by grade level, starting with office staff, then specialists, then kindergarten and so on. They will first hit the Trails/Landings neighborhood; then Sunshine Meadows; Stoddard Meadows; Strawberry Fields; Broadmore; Prescott/North Valley/ Robison/Bean.

Atlas Elementary is at 3000 W. Honeysuckle Ave., Hayden.
