Hayden mayor issues 'Day of Prayer' proclamation

Hayden Mayor Steve Griffitts proclaimed March 29 as the city of Hayden Day of Prayer, Meditation and Service for all citizens affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As your Mayor, with the support of the Mayors of Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls and Rathdrum, I ask you to pray for the health and well-being of your fellow Americans and to remember that no problem is too big for God to handle,” Griffitts said in a proclamation issued Monday.

In the proclamation, Griffitts encouraged all Americans “to pray for all those on the front lines of the response, especially our nation’s outstanding medical professionals and public health officials.”
