Field day waived for hunter ed certificate

Idaho Fish and Game has temporarily waived the requirement to attend an in-person field day for online hunter education certification.

The waiver is in line with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s guidelines to limit public events in the wake of COVID-19 virus warnings nationwide.

The temporary waiver allows students who complete the online course the ability to gain certification and purchase a hunting license. The cost of the online course is $24.50 and can be taken at https://www.hunter-ed.com/idaho/. Classes are available to anyone 9 years or older.
