TOPHER: Tribute and tribulation

Mr. Scott M. White will receive his sentencing and once again we will get to read about the “Kid Cannabis.”

Michael “Topher” Clark was so much more than the “Kid Cannabis.” He served his time in prison for his wrongdoings in 2002. By always printing all these wrongdoings it seems to others that it happened recently.

When he got out, he helped many people turn their lives around and became better citizens. He was a friend to people of all walks of life and helped some find a home and get off the street.

The movie was fiction! There was very little truth in it and he received NO money for it. Mr. White asked for a lesser charge because he didn’t want to die or be on death row. Did he ask Topher if he wanted to die before he shot him several times? We get the privilege to support him and protect him for the rest of his life. Is that fair to us or Topher?

Mr. White robbed several people of their loved one. How fair is that?! But he robbed his family and his loved ones also, but they can at least visit him. Only God knows how many more people would have been helped if Mr. White hadn’t taken Topher’s life.
