BROOKS: Reasons for support
I have known Bill Brooks since 2003 and during this time we have coached several youth programs. We have grown to become good friends and support each other’s goals and projects.
He is a tireless advocate of our Second Amendment rights and a lifetime member of the NRA. He is a member of the National Sporting Clay Target Association and a lifetime member of the National Skeet Shooting Association. He is an NRA-certified rifle, pistol and Level 3 skeet shooting instructor. Over the years, he has trained numerous skeet instructors and conducted several skeet “camps,” instructing approximately 500 kids between the ages of 10 and 17 in shooting and gun safety.
He did all of this as a volunteer, donating hundreds of hours.
Bill is a disabled vet and works tirelessly supporting veterans and is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans No. 9. He is an associate member of the Marine Corps League, Pappy Boyington Detachment No. 966, the American Legion Post 143 and is the representative to the Kootenai County Veterans Council. Bill has always tried to put others before himself and becoming a commissioner has allowed him even more avenues to help the residents of this county.
I encourage all voters to join me and re-elect Bill so he can continue to do the excellent job he has just begun to support the residents of the county.
