Commission to set spring chinook season

| March 12, 2020 1:00 AM

Idaho Fish and Game commissioners will set a spring chinook season, adopt a moose plan and consider approving land transactions at a meeting in Boise this month.

The Fish and Game Commission will meet March 19-20, with the public hearing starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19 in the main auditorium at St. Luke’s Plaza, 720 E. Park Blvd. in Boise.

The public is invited to address commissioners.

Commissioners will adopt the draft 2020-2025 Moose Management Plan and also consider a proposal that could add a waiting period to buy capped elk zone tags if a hunter applies for an elk controlled hunt.
