We are writing to endorse the reelection of Bill Brooks to his Kootenai County District 1 Commissioner seat.

We’ve known Bill for about 15 years and both of us have enjoyed his friendship and mentorship, Rita in the real estate field and me on the Skeet Range. Bill shepherded Rita to getting her real estate license and helped improve my skeet scores. As a real estate broker and a Level III skeet instructor, he could have made good money doing that. He didn’t. We are not the only ones he helped in these endeavors without compensation. He does that because he is a people person, as you already know because of his consumer advocacy column here in the Coeur d’Alene Press.

Bill listens. He realizes that God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. Bill’s rock solid conservative values encompass Second Amendment rights, pro-life causes, lower taxes and less government interference in our lives.

He has served us well in his first term and has EARNED a second term.
