In reference to your Feb. 26 issue, Healthy Lifestyles page C9, written by Mike Stobbe, AP Medical Writer.

Title: In rough U.S. season for kids, vaccine working…

CDC says vaccine 50% effective against flu B and is 55% effective against flu A, in children. These flus tend not to be as dangerous to elderly (a mystery). In young adults vaccine is ineffective for flu A (another mystery). Overall it averages 40%. Vaccines aren’t considered successful unless they work at 90%, according to the article. So how can they claim it is working.

As of this writing, 92 children and at least 14,000 Americans had died of the flu this season. These numbers from CDC are astonishing. Why is this not headlines as is the coronavirus on Feb. 27? Could that answer be the politics of blame Trump? This manipulation of the facts and figures is causing dangerous public hysteria. Why is the media doing this to the best nation in human history?
