A ‘virtual’ half-marathon

Jim Kinnard, a Special Olympian from Lake City High School, runs in front of The Coeur d’Alene Resort on Saturday as part of a “virtual” Missoula half-marathon. The actual race, scheduled for June 28, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At left is Kinnard’s dad, Jeff, serving as race support. Running ahead is Carter Gordon, a recent Lake City grad who will attend Lewis-Clark State College and compete in cross country and track and field.
