TRAILS: Tale of the ale
Bill Buley’s front page article on the Centennial Trail was awesome and so true. Many of our fundraising events were mentioned and one more must get highlighted, our annual Ales for the Trail, as it is the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation’s biggest fundraiser for the year.
During normal circumstances, the Ales for the Trail is a large gathering held at McEuen Park. This year we feel the need to keep our community safe and support our wonderful local small businesses by changing the venue to a “Brew Hop” on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 2-6 p.m. in downtown CDA, Midtown CDA and Riverstone.
We are looking for participating businesses and volunteers for the day — email us at info@nictf.org if you are interested. The NICTF will be promoting this event in the next couple of months.
Support local and give back. Tickets can be purchased from our website, www.nictf.org, under the Events page. All proceeds benefit our beautiful and much needed Centennial Trail.
