She’s just running, really

A woman out for a Monday morning run got some unexpected company — but she didn’t even break stride.

According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, a deputy observed a female running down Canfield Avenue eastbound from Government, “and believed her to be in distress.”

“Other deputies quickly responded and found that the female was out for her morning exercise,” the post said.

Deputies spoke with the runner briefly while driving beside her “so that she would not have to interrupt her pace.

“She continued on her run with no further interruptions,” the post said.
