HAYDEN — Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office deputies revived a man found unconscious Sunday.
According to the KCSO Facebook post, deputies responded to East Maplewood for an alcohol overdose. When they arrived, they found a male unresponsive and not breathing, lying in the back yard.
“One deputy started CPR as the second retrieved a turkey baster from the residence and was able to clear the male’s airway with it,” the post said.
After a few rounds of chest compressions, the male vomited and began breathing on his own, KCSO said.
EMS arrived and transported the male to Kootenai Health.
