GUNS: Locals protecting Cd’A

| June 12, 2020 1:00 AM

I have read those many LTE that some of our (how do I say this — less conservative members of our North Idaho society) that seem to have reservations about some of their neighbors exercising their Second Amendment rights in downtown Coeur d’Alene. Nothing happened this last week in downtown Coeur d’Alene except a few armed people and peaceful demonstrators got together and shared their concerns.

Yes, the Antifa demonstrators didn’t appear or did they? But was it because they weren’t coming in the first place or could it possibly be that they saw downtown Coeur d’Alene and decided it wouldn’t be a good idea to stay? Similar situations happened in western Washington in a small community just north of Seattle and in Yucaipa, Calif., a small community 10 miles outside San Bernardino, Calif. (San Bernardino was torched and looted) Antifa was rumored that they were on their way and the locals made preparations similar to Coeur d’Alene.

They did show and got their collective ass handed to them — by those same conservative-minded American citizens. Now Coeur d’Alene police had no problem with the armed locals, why should you. Also, how do you know that some if not all of our armed neighbors haven’t been trained in crowd control? They certainly have had some weapons training; otherwise they couldn’t have been carrying concealed. Just saying.
