ABORTION: Sad to read doctor’s letter

In response to Dr. Jon Cutting’s letter on abortion.

I was saddened to read your statement. When we first moved here 46 years ago, I started looking for a good OB doctor. A friend recommended you. She said that she had spoken with you on the subject of abortion. You told her that in the past you had assisted with some abortions, but would no longer do them. You told her you had spoken with an old college professor and had come to the realization that abortion is wrong. Shortly after that time, you moved your practice out of the well-known abortionist, Dr. Tarnasky’s office.

You have been blessed with an exciting and rewarding career. You have experienced the joy of delivering more than 8,500 precious babies. How can you possibly believe that a girl or woman has the right to have her unborn child hacked to pieces or scalded with chemicals until it dies? Abortion is cold-blooded murder, plain and simple!

Many people in this area are heartsick to read of your new, pro-choice stand. Whatever happened to the Dr. Cutting that we all knew and respected for so many years?
