Notable calls for the day!

06-07-2020

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy handled a forgery at S. Loffs Bay Road. The victim got intoxicated and posted account information on snapchat. They had approximately $450.00 taken from his bank account. 20-21331

• Deputies responded to S. Pend Oreille Ave for a psychological/domestic. A female called and said her husband was up all night fighting aliens and threatening to kill her. It was obvious the male was having a mental episode and was taken to KH so he could be evaluated. 20-21365

• Deputies responded to Bunco Trailhead for a suspicious. Multiple RP’s stated a silver Honda Accord were parked on an ATV trail. A male and female appeared to be “high” or intoxicated. The female had “marks” on her arm and appeared to be passed out. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate. 20-21348

• Deputies responded to N. Trails End Road for a suspicious. RP stated a side door to a building was open and the residence is unoccupied. Deputies contacted the responsible party who stated they were working with Detectives regarding history of thefts. Deputies cleared the residence and learned the doors were unable to be secured. 20-21360

• Deputies responded to N. Hayden Pines Way for a welfare check. A female has not been seen in over a week which is very unusual. She was not answering door or phone and left windows down in her vehicle that was parked in parking lot. She was eventually located at KH. 20-21371

• A Deputy responded to Railroad Street for an auto-burglary. A Victim had his wallet, $350.00 and a Smith & Wesson 9MM handgun stolen from his vehicle. 20-21345

• A Deputy was doing stationary traffic patrols near Seltice X Huetter when a male on a black motorcycle drove past him at a high rate of speed. They attempted to initiate a traffic stop with the motorcycle who began driving recklessly and began eluding once the Deputy initiated his emergency lights. Shortly after the Deputy terminated his lights and discontinued. The motorcycle rider was unable to be identified nor was the Deputy able to obtain a license plate, he completed crime report 20-21366

• Deputies responded to W. Kyler Ave for a citizen dispute. A R/P said his roommate “came into his room and messed everything up”. Deputies completed FI. 20-21379

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Hidden Valley Rd X Idaho Road for a suspicious. The R/P found a Ford passenger vehicle parked with bullet holes in the front windshield and side windows. Deputies contacted the owners and completed auto-burglary crime report. 20-21410

• Deputies responded to Discount Tire in Hayden for a welfare check. The R/P observed a truck with camper with a small child pounding on the windows and then hid. The R/P was concerned there was something suspicious going on and followed the vehicle and notified 911. Deputies responded and contacted an uncooperative male. Ultimately the child belonged to the male. Deputies completed a FI. 20-21465

• Deputies responded to FSR 206 X FSR 437 for unwanted subjects. Schaffer’s towing was on scene to tow campers and had squatter inside the campers. 20-21448

• A Deputy took an auto-burglary from E. Hwy 54 in which the victim had multiple items stolen from her vehicle including a Ruger .380 LCP. 20-21471

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to N. Pison Ct. in Post Falls for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival and after taking statements from both parties, the male was arrested for Domestic Battery with traumatic injury. 20-21489

• A Deputy and his K9 Deuce assisted ISP on a traffic stop on HWY 95 near Kidd Island Bay Rd. Drugs were discovered inside the vehicle and on the persons involved. 20-21492

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to the casino for a male, who refused to pay his $154 taxi fare. The male was contacted and admitted he did not have the means to pay the fare. He was cited for theft of services. 20-21541
