Notable calls for the day!

06-05-2020

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the Athol Super 1 for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. They contacted a female driver who’s vehicle broke down and she was simply waiting for a ride, unfortunately, she was arrested for her warrants. 20-20984/20-20987

• A Detective was on his way into work and came upon a crash that just occurred on Chase Rd. at Seltice Way in Post Falls. One of the involved parties, fled the scene of the crash while the Detective attempted to stop him. It appeared the male was going to run so the Detective aired he may be in a pursuit. The suspect driver yielded a few blocks later and the scene was turned over to PFPD. 20-21000

• A Deputy responded to Log Arch Ln in Athol for a harassment. A male was cited for trespassing per a property owner as the male was previously trespassed from the property on 07-05-2019. The male admitted he trespassed and mowed the property owner’s lawn while he was not home. 20-21078

• Deputies responded to E. Packsaddle Dr. for a Citizen Dispute between family members on an ongoing dispute over the estate. No crime committed. 20-21090

• Deputies responded to E. 3rd St. in Post Falls for a battery between juvenile sisters. One sister was putting on make-up in the bathroom and talking ill of her mother, when the other sister heard her and became upset. 20-21071

• Evening and Night Shift handed the following notable calls: A Deputy responded to Rose lake Conoco and contacted a R/P who reported a possible weapons offense at Rainy Hill campground. It was reported a gray GMC Yukon was driving through the area and heard what she believed sounded like two gun shots. Deputies responded to Rainy Hill campground and checked the area but did not locate the vehicle. 20-21145

• Deputies responded to Walmart in Hayden for a detained shoplifter. Upon their arrival they completed an investigation and arrested a male for Burglary. 20-21104

• Deputies responded to E. 16th regarding a family dispute. Upon their arrival they contacted a male and female. During their investigation they learned a simple battery had occurred. A report was completed 20-21106

• Deputies responded to E. Coeur d’Alene Lake Dr. and assisted medical with a male who was extremely intoxicated. The male was transported to the hospital via ambulance where he was admitted into the hospital. 20-21120

• Deputies responded to N Hatch Rd regarding a physical domestic Dispute. Upon their arrival they contacted both a male and female. During the investigation they learned the two were not in a domestic relationship but a simple battery had occurred. A report was completed. 20-21137

Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the area of Weir Rd. and Brunner Rd. for a suicide threat where an R/P called 911 saying her friend, was going to cut her wrists. Apparently, this was a misunderstanding as friend’s husband was intoxicated and mistook what she actually said. 20-21160

• Deputies responded to N. Clagstone Rd. for a trespassing. A husband was upset that his soon to be ex-wife, showed up to his house after he worked more than 24 hours, as he was tired. The wife claimed she previously made an appointment with him about coming by today. Deputies was able to explain to both parties that the wife still had legal rights to the property and that husband could not keep her locked out. 20-21166

Evening and Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy stopped out with a suspicious vehicle in the Casino parking lot and through his contact both occupants were cited for possession of paraphernalia (meth and heroin paraphernalia) due to several used syringes and a meth pipe being located in the car. 20-21254

• Deputies responded to Buttonhook Bay for a domestic dispute on a boat docked in the area. When they arrived they contacted a male and female. After completing their investigation the male was arrested for attempted strangulation and felony Domestic Battery. 20-21272

• A Deputy responded to Sunny Slopes for a suspicious vehicle parked on the road for over an hour. There was only one residence near the vehicle, which was unrecognized by others in the area. Upon arrival no one was found in or around the vehicle, and he found heroin in plain view inside the vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was learned the vehicle belonged to a confirmed tribal member. Tribal PD responded and took over the investigation.

• Deputies responded to W. Santiago Cir in Hauser Lk for a battery. Upon their arrival they contacted R/P and was told his sister had come home and was intoxicated. After getting home they got into an argument and the sister started pushing and hitting the R/P in the chest. The R/P advised he wished to pursue charges. A report was completed and the sister was issued a citation.20-21277

• After clearing the above call, Deputies were called back because the sister had broken the R/P’s television. Once they arrived the sister became belligerent. She was arrested for obstructing and resisting and cited for malicious injury to property. 20-21280
