65th Anniversary

Robin, Pete and Kelly Lenz would like to announce the 65th wedding anniversary of our parents, Clifford and Darlene Lenz. They were married in Moorhead, Minn., on June 11, 1955. They still reside in their home in Coeur d’Alene.

Nicole DeMarco, O.D., of Hayden,, has completed the Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree at the Arizona College of Optometry of Midwestern University. Conferring of degrees took place in a virtual graduation ceremony hosted by Midwestern University on May 22.

Dr. DeMarco is the daughter of Hayden residents Tony and Carlyn DeMarco. She graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 2010 and earned a B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry from Lewis-Clark State College in 2014. Dr. DeMarco will complete her residency training in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, Ariz.

The Arizona College of Optometry graduated its inaugural class in Spring 2013. Through face-to-face instruction and early clinical settings, the four-year professional curriculum helps prepare optometrists to provide exemplary patient care, serve the vision health and eye care needs of the public, and improve the well-being of society, including our aging population and underserved areas.
