COEUR d’ALENE RECREATION

Golf lessons: Registration is underway, and will run through June 10 or until full, for the Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department youth golf camp for ages 5-8.

This camp is described as fun and instructional in nature.

Two sessions are offered; registration is limited. The first session will begin on June 23; the second session will begin July 13. Classes are held twice a week for three weeks. Classes are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Person Field, 15th Street and Garden Avenue.

All equipment is provided.

Registration fee is $55.

Tennis lessons: The Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department is holding registration for youth tennis instructional classes for ages ranging from 8-15. Registration is through June 12, or until classes are full, at the recreation department office, located at 710 Mullan Ave.

Registration is limited, so those interested are asked to register early.

Classes will commence June 22 and will run for four weeks. Classes will be held twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesday mornings. Tennis classes will be held at the Ramsey Park tennis courts. Students must supply their own tennis racket and a can of balls.

Student cost for eight lessons is $40 for city residents and $45 for non-city residents.
