REBUTTAL: Consider big picture

| June 3, 2020 1:00 AM

Regarding Stephen Towles’ letter last Friday, I would encourage you to not place views that the editor otherwise does not hold based off a one line statement.

The business journal article by Mike Patrick stated the obvious in its preamble, asserted the common notions and concerns while applying the facts and hard truths, which is that the very engine that drives North Idaho is tourism. There was no promotion of negligent care to guidelines or blind eyes to the realities at hand in any part the articles language. If anything, consistently the editor has reflected the same concerns and offered solutions: Look at his May 29 article.

Your momentary emotionally inclined frustrations do not allow you to make an elephant out of a mouse. Your opinion was not a critique to his statement but a contradiction. Be careful in throwing stones when you live a glass house.
