15 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kootenai County

A total of 15 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Kootenai County according to numbers released by Idaho Health and Welfare on Saturday afternoon.

According to the numbers, eight of the new cases from Friday’s total of 678 were confirmed, with another seven suspected in the county. Kootenai County has only one fatality due to the virus.

Benewah County, which had 22 cases on Friday, saw an increase of seven to 29.

Idaho currently has 10,505 cases with 577 probable cases reported on Saturday.

No new cases were reported in Boundary, Shoshone or Bonner counties on Saturday.

Panhandle Health District does not release coronavirus updates on weekends.

Statewide, only Lewis County, Butte County and Clark County do not have cases.
