MUSIC: Recognizing supporters

I would like to extend appreciation to a couple community organizations that have supported music education in my classroom.?Thank you to the Skyway PTA for their generous grant toward purchasing ukuleles. The students (and staff) are excited to begin learning this fun instrument.

Thank you also to the Sunrise Rotary Club for their generous grant toward the purchase of our steel drums. As the students have learned about other cultures, they are so much more engaged when they can have hands-on experience with a variety of instruments. You can see the joy and curiosity in their faces when they walk in and see the new instruments!

It is good to know that organizations such as these exist that recognize, encourage and support the value of instruments in a solid music education classroom.
